Tina Eldred trains with Tracy Sklenar, Leader of the Pack regularly and attends many workshops at Susan Garrets Say Yes training center, one of North America's leading training facilities. Some of the workshops attended as Say Yes! : Foundations, Susan Salo's Jump Grid Seminar. She has also attended many workshops of LOPT such as multiple foundation workshops, handling, body awareness, Its your choice and others allowing her to have a true understanding of the program and to offer seminars of her own to bring the knowledge to many handlers striving to succeed in the ring.
As a trainer, she has taught obedience and agility for over 10 years, working with various trainers and training methods. Tina incorporates what she has learned and experienced first hand into her training. She also worked closely with Amy Wallis, certified animal behaviorist, in learning the psychology of dogs and how to work with reactive/aggressive dogs and I look forward to continually learning about these behaviors. Tina is continually learning new techniques expanding my knowledge in agility. She enjoy teaching agility, obedience, and working with dogs that are socially challenged because the end result is a happy dog!
Teaching all levels of agility from Foundations to dogs working at the Masters level for their MACH. Her teachings are based on the Greg Derrett handling system, which she has found to be simple, and a very clear handling system for all dogs. In her agility classes, she has un-confident dogs, outgoing dogs, and dogs that have exhibit fear. They all learn to overcome by incorporating not only agility but basic dog behaviors into the class settings. Agility is not about the sport, but is about doing something fun with your dog!
