Linda McGonagle
Animal Performance & Therapy Center is owned by and operated by Lin McGonagle, MSPT, LVT, and focuses on sports medicine and animal rehabilitation. Ms. McGonagle has earned a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Cornell University, a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Beaver College and an Associates degree from SUNY Delhi in the Veterinary Technician program.
Ms. McGonagle serves as the Past President of the Animal Physical Therapy Special Interest Group under the Orthopaedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association. She has served as a consultant to the Practice Committee of the New York State Physical Therapy Association as well as the NYS Liaison to the NYSVMA. She is also a consultant to local veterinarians in the Finger Lake’s Region, Cornell University's Hospital for Animals, and Colonial Veterinary Hospital in Ithaca, New York.
Ms. McGonagle has presented at national veterinary and physical therapy conferences on animal physical therapy. She has contributed to several books and journals relating to animal physical therapy and attends numerous continuing education courses each year to stay current in new interventions.
